If you miss filing your ITR by 15th September 2025, a late fee under Section 234F will apply:
₹1,000 – if your income is below ₹5 lakh
₹5,000 – if your income is above ₹5 lakh
Additionally, interest under Sections 234A, 234B, and 234C may also apply.
